This year, we gathered +110 educational leaders from across The Nordics, UK, Germany and Portugal at the iconic Barbican Centre in London. A venue that perfectly reflects what WISEcon stands for: creativity, collaboration, and culture. Its striking architecture and vibrant atmosphere provided the ideal backdrop for two days of inspiration, learning, and networking. From the modern conference halls to the historic charm of the gala dinner at the Inner Temple, every detail was designed to create an experience that was as memorable as it was meaningful.

The conference unfolded as an experience where learning met collaboration. From the beginning, the energy was high. Breakout sessions drew participants into practical, hands-on discussions on academic integrity, accessibility, authentic assessment, and innovative integrations. These sessions weren’t just presentations. They were conversations, rich with actionable tips and real-world examples that resonated across institutions.

At the keynote stage, leaders explored the future of digital assessment. Their insights on sector trends and strategies for collaboration sparked ideas that continued to ripple through networking breaks and informal meetups. Throughout the conference, attendees exchanged perspectives, shared best practices, and built relationships that will last beyond WISEcon25.

Adding to the spirit of innovation, our partners Comm100 and SchoolYear joined us to showcase solutions that make digital exams more authentic and communication more seamless. We were also joined by AWS, highlighting their work on Assisted Feedback, bringing AI-powered support into the assessment process. As day one transitioned into evening, the Inner Temple offered a stunning backdrop for the gala dinner. A historic setting that added elegance and atmosphere to a night of celebration. It was the perfect moment to reflect, connect, and enjoy great company.

Day two brought another highlight: the WISEflow Awards Ceremony. This celebration recognised institutions that have embraced WISEflow in remarkable ways. Awards included fun and impressive achievements such as Longest Sitting Exam, Most Flows Created in the Past Year, and Highest Engagement Across Assessment Types. These categories not only showcased creativity and scale but also highlighted how universities are pushing the boundaries of digital assessment, celebrating dedication, innovation, and the shared journey toward better assessment practices.
